Thanks for supporting me in prayer! I appreciate your backing more than I can ever express. Thank you for the prayers already “submitted”...I feel so blessed and favored....God is doing AMAZING things and I haven’t even left the states!
- My passport renewal arrived 5 days early!
- I was able to attain air tickets at an INCREDIBLE price!
- Financial support is coming in steadily and I only have $1000 left to raise!
- I was “gifted” a Dell laptop, docking station, software, etc. – WHOO HOO!
- God provided a friend to housesit for me while I am away!
- My girlfriend had her baby BEFORE I left so I got to be apart of it – and, by the way, she is gorgeous!
As I stated in my “update” prayer is essential and a solid group of prayer supporters is my greatest need. When you remember me, please petition God in my behalf for the following:
- Travel mercies: I leave at 8:55 am Thursday, September 7th, fly to Minneapolis, Amsterdam, and then Johannesburg. My connections are TIGHT – please pray that the flight will be “boring” and my connections smooth. I am not a great air traveler and get nauseated easily...if you could pray against that it would be great!
- Personal spiritual growth, a servant’s heart & readiness to hear God
- God to provide the remaining funds needed
- Physical, mental and emotional strength and stamina
- Protection while traveling and while in Johannesburg
- My luggage will arrive WITH me in South Africa – I’ve heard horror stories.
- God to be preparing my next employment opportunity while I am away.
